Traveling the world at a young age and being in the presence of many Gospel andR&B greats, Chianti has been able to hone her craft. She has shared the stage with Bobby Jones, Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark–Cole,Edwin Hawkins, Tonex, Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child), Trinitee5:7, the Manhattans, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, the Chi-lites, and McFadden and Whitehead.
At the age of 14, Chianti appeared on numerous nationally syndicated television shows. She was showcased on Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) Teen Summit; she also won Amateur Night at the World Renowned Apollo Theater inHarlem, New York at the age of 16. A year later, she signed a recording contract with Lil' Man/Interscope Records under the direction of Teddy Riley, formally of the group Guy and Blackstreet. During her tenure at Lil’Man/Interscope records, her background vocals were featured on “The Lord is Real” which appeared on Blackstreet’s third album “Another Level”.
Chianti has appeared on The Word Network where she was a featured artist on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show. This appearance opened up many doors and afforded her the opportunity to be the guest artist for two years at Gospel Flava’s International Urban Music Conference. She also appeared as a guest artist at Edwin and Walter Hawkins’ Music and Arts Love Fellowship Conference.
Chianti is dedicated to helping others in her community. She has volunteered and participated in several community activities held by the Food andClothing Bank of South Georgia, Habitat for Humanity, the Boys andGirls Club of Lowndes County, and World Vision International. She has had the opportunity to share her gift at several healthcare awareness conventions held by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany StateUniversity, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, andDudley Hair Care. Chianti has served as a praise and worship leader for various ministries. Currently, she is working on her long awaited debut album where she is writing and co-producing the project.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management fromAlbany State University and a Master of Business Administration inHealth Care Management from Capella University Chianti is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Chianti shares her life with husband Vinson and three children: Ashlyn, Aubriana, and Vinson, Jr.
